Temazcal Ceremony
A guided ceremony of heat, steam, prayer, breath, and intention—created for purification, renewal, and reconnection. You are always in choice, and you may step out at any time.

What is a Temazcal?
A Temazcal is a ceremonial space where heat and steam support physical cleansing, emotional release, and spiritual renewal. We move through multiple rounds with guidance, intention, and respect for the container. You are welcome to participate at your own pace.
Donation & Address
Donation is $75–$100 per individual.
If you already made a $25 donation/reservation:
your remaining donation is $50–$100 per individual.
Once your donation is received, you will be sent the address to the Temple of Healing Arts (TOHA) in Long Beach.
Preparation & Guidance
Begin hydrating now and drink plenty of water and electrolytes leading up to the ceremony. Notice what arises after saying YES—resistance, old patterns, fear, or distraction—this is part of the work.
What to Bring (Essentials)
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Change of clothing
- Comfortable, breathable clothing
Optional (not required)
- Light food to share after the ceremony
- Flowers or aromatic herbs
- Drum or instrument that tolerates heat/humidity
- Small towel or sarong for sitting support
Please refrain from perfumes or strong hair products, as scents become amplified in the lodge.
Food & Medicine Guidance
- Eat nourishing meals with protein and leafy greens if possible (fruit is great for hydration).
- Refrain from alcohol for at least 24 hours prior.
- Refrain from psychedelics, sacred medicines, or marijuana (including micro-doses) for at least 48 hours prior.
- If you have health concerns or medications, consult your healthcare provider before attending.
What to Wear
- White or red preferred (black or yellow welcome).
- Natural, breathable fibers are most comfortable.
- Bathing suits are also appropriate.

There will be someone present to help guide you at the appropriate time.

About the Facilitators
Armando Hart
Armando is a Long Beach native, author, mentor, and devoted space holder of Temazcal medicine rooted in the Mexica tradition. He also carries Mexica and Purépecha ancestry. Through breath, movement, rhythm, and presence, he creates grounded ceremonial containers supporting healing, reflection, and reconnection to body and spirit.
Yve Ahnumi Hart
Yve is a ceremonial guide, healer, and intuitive teacher devoted to heart-led transformation and divine remembrance. With over 30 years of experience, she creates sacred spaces for emotional release, energetic cleansing, and restoration— supporting others in returning to inner guidance.
