Summer Speed Program
A group-based training program for athletes ages 14–18 across all sports. Built for athletes looking to improve speed through proper mechanics, movement efficiency, and intentional training. Sessions take place at CSULB.
What This Program Is
This is a group-based summer speed training program for serious athletes who want to move better and perform at a higher level. Speed is the focus, but speed touches everything. As movement becomes cleaner and more efficient, athletes improve how they produce force, manage energy, and carry themselves through their sport.
This work applies to athletes in football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, track and field, and more. Every athlete can benefit from learning how to move more efficiently.

About the Coach
I’m Armando Hart. I’m a speed coach, movement specialist, mentor, and former elite athlete. I was an Olympic qualifier in 1996 and have spent decades studying, applying, and teaching movement at a high level.
I was honored to work with Misty May-Treanor and be part of her Olympic gold medal team in 2012. Over the years, I’ve also trained MLB players, professional volleyball players, professional soccer players, and athletes across many different sports.
My specialty is speed. When speed is developed through sound mechanics and efficient movement, the athlete becomes more complete.

Why Group Training Works
Training in a group of 8–10 athletes creates energy, accountability, and competition. Athletes push each other while still receiving guidance and correction within each session.
Schedule & Investment
The program begins June 16 and runs through July 30 at CSULB.
Training meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Total investment is $350. Pay $175 to begin and $175 at the end of the program.
