Temazcal for Sober Living

The Temazcal—a sacred sweat lodge rooted in ancient Mesoamerican tradition—offers a profound opportunity for those on the path of recovery to reconnect with their bodies, minds, and spirit. Within this sacred space, participants experience purification through heat, breath, intention, and community.

Many sober living and recovery programs now recognize the importance of somatic and spiritual integration. It is not a religious ceremony, but rather a guided, intentional process that complements existing recovery practices.

Safety & Considerations

Each participant is asked to complete a brief health questionnaire and sign a waiver of liability prior to entering the Temazcal. Individuals with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or high blood pressure are advised to consult a medical professional beforehand.

Program Options & Exchange

The Temazcal is a full ceremonial experience lasting approximately 2.5–3 hours, including preparation, ceremony, and closing integration.

Each additional participant: +$100 per person
Deposit to reserve date: $100

This exchange honors the time, preparation, fire tending, materials, and sacred facilitation provided by Armando Hart / Temple of Healing Arts (TOHA).

Waiver & Liability

All participants must complete a waiver acknowledging the physical nature of the Temazcal and accepting full responsibility for their participation.
